Can I rent a unit online?

Yes. Our online unit rental provides tenants with an easy and convenient way to lease a storage unit. Click the Unit Rentals tab, select your unit size, input your information and payment, and sign your lease.

Once your lease is signed, you will receive two email confirmations: one with your fully signed documents and the second will be to welcome you to Moss Hill Self Storage.

What size of storage units do you offer?

At Moss Hill Self Storage we offer many sizes to fit your storage needs. Units’ sizes are:

  • Small units: 5×5 and 5×10
  • Medium units: 10×10 and 10×15
  • Large units: 10×20 and 10×30

Is a deposit required when reserving a storage space?

No. With Moss Hill Self Storage you can reserve your unit online Free of Charge. We hold the unit(s) reservation for three (3) days.

Do I need to pay administrative fee?

Unlike most other storage businesses, Moss Hill Slef Storage does not have any hidden charges on move-in. You simply pay your unit rent rate. No admin or other fees.

Can I set up Auto-pay

Yes, you can set up to pay your rent by Autopay. It is the easiest way to remit your rent on time, and you never have to worry about missing a payment and incurring late fees.

Do you offer Climate-controlled units?

Yes, we offer Climate Controlled units ranging in size from 5×5 units to 10×20 units.

What are the benefits of climate-controlled storage?

Climate controlled units provide a stable temperature environment to store sensitive items such as Documents, electronics, antiques, etc… Moss Hill Self Storage Climate controlled units are all ground floor, located inside the building providing well light isles and easy access to tenants.

What is a drive-up storage unit?

Our Drive up self-storage units are located on the ground level. They have a have an exterior roll-up door to easily access the storage unit(s) as you drive up.

Can I access my storage unit any time?

Moss Hill Self Storage offer 24/7 access to all storage units. So you can access your unit anytime. We have a gated facility that requires you to key in your code to enter.

Do I need tenant storage insurance?

At Moss Hill Self Storage, we provide our tenants insurance information, we do not sell insurance. It is up to tenants to choose the manner of insurance to ensure their belongings. We highly recommend that each tenant choose a method of insurance to insure their belongings either through information provided or homeowner/renter insurance.

How do I pay my storage bill?

For your ease and convenience, we recommend that you set up your account and pay your monthly bill online. Other easy ways to make your payment are as follows:

  • Telephone payment by calling our office at 410-546-2282
  • In person payment by visiting our office or dropping it in drop box after hours
  • Mailing your payment to the following address:

What happens if I lose my key or forget my access code?

If you lose your key, please contact or email us so we can schedule a lock removal (cutoff) so you access the unit and replace your lock with a new one. The cost for lock removal is $35.00. If you forget your access code, please contact our office to verify your information then we will provide you with the information you need.

Do I need to bring my own storage lock?

We offer very secure locks to purchase at our office, or you can choose to bring your own lock. Each tenant is required to place One (1) personal lock on each unit’s door leased. We also sell a variety of moving supplies.

What security measures are in place?

Moss Hill Self Storage is a gated facility which allows access only through an entry code system. Our facility is well light at night with top quality security cameras located throughout our facility.

What are your office hours?

Our office business hours are Monday – Friday 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Saturday 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Tenants can leave a message after business hours, and we will promptly return calls the next business day.

How do I pick my storage unit size?

Our online Storage Calculator is an easy tool to use. It will help you determine the best size unit you need to store your belongings.

Can I transfer to a different unit size if I need more or less space?

You can certainly transfer to another unit size, if available, to best fit your needs. Please contact our office at 410-546-2282 during business hours, or email us your request at: admin@mosshillstorage.com to arrange the transfer.

Do you have onsite staff?

Yes, our office is staffed during our normal business hours: M-F 9:00 am to 4:30 pm and Sat 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
